Which cd do i need to transfer digital photos?

I want to transfer some digital photos to cd to be able to view through my dvd player. I have tried using imation cds but my Samsung 511 dvd player doesn't recognise them. Should I be using cdr plus or cdr minus cds. Any help would be appreciated.

You may need DVD-Rs (DVD recordable). It's what I use, and you can get them anywhere you would normally get CDs.
