  1. I have a Samsung SGH-0437. It's good for texting and it has a camera, but it's not the best phone around.

From what I've heard, iPhones seem really cool and I think that's what you should get. Maybe the new iPhone3G.

  2. What ever you do, do NOT I REPEAT NOT EVER buy and LG phone!  THEY SUCK! I would suggest a black berry.

  3. nah i wouldn't get an iphone (i heard they are overrated but they do look really cool haha)

  4. I would say no on the iphones. They can be pretty slow. I have the sidekick LX from tmobile. It is really good for texting. And its really good for internet. I have unlimited text/internet. Im actually on my phone internet right now answering this ;] the camera is kinda sucky..but it works.

  5. I would recommend the Samsung sch-u740 (AKA alias) from Verizon because it has a camera, a camcorder, and a full QWERTY keyboard for texting.

I have also heard that the iphone is very slow.

  6. i would perfer getting the blackberry curve or the bold.  it has those keyboard things for you to text a lot and also the camera is like 2 megapixels which is really good.  the cell companies they have it in are verizon, t-mobile, and cingular, but thats all i know

  7. iPhone is not worth it. It seems all great until you get it, it has many many many problems because it is new. I suggest the Motorola

MOTOROKR Z6m through U.S. Cellular, it's great for texting has like THE best camera and everything else.

  8. Go with Bell and get a LG Chocolate Slide'

their amazing and easy to work.

  9. Well I don't know what phone for you to get, but I can tell you do not get the Motorola Q.  Trust me on this one. =)  Good luck.

  10. get a sidekick. the thing i like about it is it lets you send IMs but it's an additional $20 per month tho.

err, the camera is kinda lowclass tho.

    helppp

  11. Iphones get REALLY slow if you do alot of stuff on them I would know

  12. Hmm.

either the dare (like the iphone for verizon, ill) or the glyde (like the voyager but it slides up and has the keyboard and touch screen, dopee) there both for verizon.

  13. You could get an Iphone. I know alot of people who have them and love them.

    I also like Palm Centro's.

There is this one phone with a touch screen that vibrates when you touch it and I forgot what it is called but my friend likes it alot. Blackberry's are nice and businessy. I don't really like sidekicks personally. LG Scoop's are cool too.

  14. env2 or they voyager from verizon are really good

  15. well, i don't know, it depends on how much money you have to buy it.i have Sony Ericsson k750i, for few years, and it's working fine for me. it has a camera, you can put memory stick in it, it has radio, good color display, it's fine for texting...i don't know what do you exactly want...it's a bit old, but works fine.and as for iphone, i don't know, haven't used it.

  16. I don't like the iphone personally. I don't even have that big of fingers, but hitting the buttons is difficult with the touch screen, and it is so annoying! I have the Pantech Duo, and it is pretty cool if you don't mind constantly charging your phone. As long as you have a case (so it doesn't turn on by itself, since the power button is on the outside.) It's good. But don't think you'll leave the house for 10 hours, and be able to use it all day, because the battery life kind of sucks. The blackberry is nice once you learn how to use it. There is so much stuff to do on it, as a first phone it is probably frustrating. My first suggestion is to check the major cell phone companies - AT&T, T-mobile, Sprint, Verizon websites to see the coverage in your area. I used to have T-mobile, which has great phones, but my house and my school were in dead zones, so it wasn't a reasonable company for our family. AT&T had better coverage for the areas that we were mostly in. Here are the links to the sites so you can check your area for coverage. (the most important thing!)

    Sprint - http://coverage.sprint.com/IMPACT.jsp?la...

    T-Mobile - http://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/pcc.asp...

    Verizon -  http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/Cover...

    AT&T - http://www.wireless.att.com/coverageview...

I suggest you check these sites, and maps (you can get a more personal look by typing in your address, and the addresses of places you'll most likely use your phone, like school, home, the mall, etc. And find out which company gets you the best coverage, then figure out which phone you want!!

  17. I got the iPhone 3G, not too long ago, and I haven't had a single problem with it yet.

  18. My brother and sister have the Samsung Alias with Verizon, and they got it for texting because it flips one way and works like a normal cell phone and then flips the other way and has a mini keyboard on it - it's got a pretty decent display, and they like it fine. I've got a Nokia phone that I LOVE from Verizon, and it's a basic flip phone with easy buttons and it's slim and black and very much my style (well, I got the Dark Knight special edition so it's black, and I call it my 'Batphone', but the standard one is a pretty silver and blue color scheme).

Whatever you do, do NOT get the Razr (they're terrible phones, everyone I know with one has had problems with it, and half my school seems to have them!) and don't get the LG shine cause it'll et covered with fingerprints in a matter of minutes, then the point of the shinyness will be gone.

  19. im not sure how old you are but my parents started me out with a prepaid phone to prove that I wouldnt go over on minutes and such.

Tmobile is a good company and they'll work with you when you cant make a payment

    they have good rates too.

but no on the iphone I hate mine.

  20. the iphone absolutely sucks! my friend had one and its sooo touchy and had like 5 glitches in 1 week and she dropped it and got a huge scratch. i love my phone its a envy from verzion and u can either get the first one or the second one. it has a really nice camera, it has a keyboard for txting and 2 screens and 1 of them is nice and big. oh and verizon is like one of the best providers ever!!!!!!!! i only dropped a call once. its covered it alot of places too.

  21. try ebay and search

    "cect"

those cellphones are imported from hong kong and are modify to work on US GSM networks(att, t-mobile)

and there cheeper that the iphone

(be sure to get the "quad band" version those work with the new 3g networks)

best cellphone carriers out there in terms of quality are ATT, T-Mobile and in the CDMA category Sprint

but i suggest you go with TM or ATT because GSM is so much easier

i mean if you wanna change phones you just take the chip out from the old one and put it in the new one

  22. i would go with at&t.

uhm i recently had the pantech duo.

it has a full key board and a normal key board like the verizon chocolate has.

it has a camera and it takes pic and vid.

    has mp3 player in it.

    has cute cases.

and then this is the new phone that i just got

    its the palm treo.

    touch screen

    full keyboard

    camera.

    internet.

    just about everyting

    mp3 player in it

the thing with the ipone its nice and everything but it will cost a extra $20 a month just to have it. and thats ontop of your plan minutes and texting. my dad has it and i was going to get it but then they would have  to pay another twenty to have it.

    hope this helps :)
