Which center console boat for saltwater fishing with a head?

I'm interested in getting a small (18'-25') center console boat for the family. We like to fish at the beach, in and around the intercoastal waterway, NC. I would like to have one with a head (potty) for the comfort of the kids and ladies. What can you recommend.

  1. Bayliner cruisers sound like they'd fit the bill for your needs.  You can get olders ones (between 85 and 92) for a reasonable price that'll allow you to gas it up without having to take out a second mortage.  :)

  2. there are probably 200 boats in the size range you gave. i suggest a visit to a boat show where you can see what's available. the price range is wide, from $18,000. to $50,000. depending on the equipment and motor or motors. used boats are an option but be very wary of a boat used in saltwater. never buy a used boat without a professional boat surveyors inspection. look online at dealers web site.

  3. I really like the Scout.  They are built in your area and they use Yamaha power which is good.  I saw one at the last boat show and they looked to be well made, and the prices were good.  They have several center console models and at least one has a head built in to the console.
