  1. 1st is great but then i saw the 2nd and i fell in love with it

  2. i love the pumpkin. i'm planning on having a fall wedding and my centerpiece is going to be a pumpkin hollowed out with a bouquet of flowers on the inside

  3. Oh my goodness! They are both beautiful, but I'd go with the pumkin.

You could alternate between the jack-o-lantern and this one: http://images.marthastewart.com/images/c...

  4. Hmm, I think it will depend on your reception and how fancy it is or relaxed, etc.

I'm kind of partial to the branches centerpieces, just because that's what we're doing. We're having our reception in a hall with floor to ceiling windows, overlooking wooded areas, so we wanted to bring nature to us in the room with branches. So for us, it was very fitting and reflected the look we were going for.

However, the pumpkin idea is really cute, but I would pair it with other flowers so it doesn't look like you're throwing a Halloween party. You could hollow out a pumpkin and put the flowers in it (kind of like a vase), or even use the hollowed pumpkin as a candle-holder with flowers all around it:

But yeah, I still prefer the branches, personally :) But it's what YOU prefer and what the feeling of your wedding is.

  5. the second one is amazing!!!  but you could use the 1st one as your centerpiece for your head table.  good luck

  6. If you used a more wildflower-looking flower than Gerbera daisies, I think it would look fantastic.  Otherwise, go with the pumpkins.  Or if you plan on having dim lighting during the reception, absolutely go with the pumpkins.  The glow would be stunning!

  7. the branches look gorgeous as centerpieces.

  8. I think it depends what feel youd like. The second is more elegant. The pumokin is actually really pretty but might also lend itself to a halloweeny feel, and if that isnt what youre going for, dont use it.

  9. the second one

  10. I like 2, but one would be unique, especially if each table had a different pumpkin design:) You could even roast the pumpkin seeds and give them as a favor. Yum.

  11. both are gorgoues

  12. I love the pumpkin idea because it is unique and different but still elegant.

  13. do both... mix the center pieces, one on some tables and the other on the others... they don't all have to be the same!

  14. Definitley THE PUMPKIN!

  15. love the pumkin but you wont see the carving on the other side of the table.  Id do teh second one for the guest talbes and te pumpkins with yours and his initilas on the head table

  16. the first one, its really fun.

  17. I REALLY like the pumpkin!! It's so unique. The second one is great too, but I'd go w/ the pumpkin. I think it will be a great icebreaker for those sitting at the same table who may not know each other very well...

    Good luck:*)

  18. The first one because it's beautiful and unique!

  19. I definitely love the second one more. It is much more elegant and wedding appropriate. The pumpkin is unique, but it is much more halloween-ish than wedding, especially with the candles (jack-o-lantern!). I do like the pumpkin idea though, so I would recommend trying to use pumpkins somewhere else - the entrance to the reception, or on the sides of the head table, or maybe even as centerpieces for the buffet table or by the punch table.

    Happy planning!

  20. The pumpkin

  21. I really like the pumpkin. It is unique. I think it also depends on the feel of your wedding. Good Luck.

  22. The branches for sure

  23. I love the second one.  I hate the idea of a pumpkin in the middle of the table, I just don't think it would look classy.

  24. I love the Pumpkin one!! Very creative

  25. I definatly like the second one.

  26. I thought the second choice was more elegant.

  27. Those are both wonderful ideas!!!! You have wonderful taste! I would do the pumpkin that is too cute! I love the way it looks, you could always put he flower petals around the pumpkins to incorporate both ideas. I hope you have a wonderful wedding, congrats!!!

  28. The pumpkin!!!  That is really different and your guest would absolutely love it!!!

  29. The second one is beautiful, and FAR MORE elegant! Don't even doubt it. The pumpkin is kind of... tacky, and i don't mean that in an offensive way, but the other one is really really wedding-y ! Good luck I'd love to help if you need anything else.

  30. the second one!! ALOT more! but they are both really cute!

  31. I would go with the second one.  I agree with a previous poster to use the pumpkin on the head table.  If you put it on the other tables, not all the people around the table will be able to see the design on the front.
