Question:

Which cheese is the right one to use? Who prefers what?

I do use Romano and Parmesan through my layers of lasagna pasta but which is the right one to use or which one do you guys and girls prefer? Help I'm ready to start layering it now?

Eileen...cant decide...please help! :)

  1. If it were me Eileen I would try to mix them both together to make it taste perfect.

  3. acually you should be useing rigotta cheese. I like to mix the rigotta with abount a quarter of some cottage cheese and just a 1/2a  pinch of nutmeg.If you try it let me know what you think. make sure you incorperate the 3 real well.

  4. I use Ricotta, parmersan & mozzarella in my lasagna

  5. The classic cheeses for lasagna casseroles are ricotta and mozzarella, used together with a layer of ricotta on top. But you could add either Romano or Parmigiano for extra zing (or both.)

  6. I think you could layer them both- I bet it'll be yummy! :)

  7. sauce on the bottom of pan then your lasagna noodles, then  ricotta mixture, meat optional ,then noodles, then sauce , then  mozzarella, noodles, ricotta mixture , meat, so on ......... you can add romano or parmesan cheese also.

  8. Mix them together...it will taste perfect!

  9. imported romano is made with sheeps milk, parmesan cow milk.  

  10. I like fresh Romano best, but usually use a combination ..... don't forget the fresh provolone or mozzarella too:)
