Which children's cartoon is this?

Hello everybody!

I've been desperately looking for the title of a children's cartoon tv show from the 90's...

I don't remember much about it but I remember there was a hippo in a tutu and a monkey with stripes on it's tail...I'm thinking pink and yellow. There were all different animals in the village...

Sorry I can't give you more info but...well, I was about 5 when I saw it so it's all a bit blurry....
