Convict cichlid, or any other? I want small ones not 18 inches or 12 inches ones.

Whichever fish that is aggressive, when they breed they become even more aggressive to protect their fry. Oscar are semi-aggressive, that means it eat things that is small enough to fit in their mouth, they are actually non-aggressive cichlids. Cichlids can take down a full grown oscar during breeding period, thus, i think they are one of the most aggressive cichlid (male up to 6 inches, female 4 inches).
