  1. La Paz is more than 2000 meters above sea level. It is the capital of Bolivia. Many athletes train there before competitions because it is so much harder to do things at a high altitude because of the lack of air. Many people get sick there but their are certain plant leaves that will help you feel better.

    Many towns in Alps of Switzerland & Austria are above 2km;

    whole of Tibet (Lhasa, Shigatse, Gartok to name a few), Kabul (in Hindu kush-Afghanstan), Leh (Ladakh-India) at 3520m(11550')

    are the main cities and towns.

    Denver, the mile highcity (1660m) doesnot qualify for inclusion in the list.

    If you want to escape from sea-level rise +100m is a good bet

  5. Well Amsterdam or anywhere else in the Netherlands is a bad place to be if GW is true.
