Which cities have easiest Metro access to Hollywood?

Question

I am moving to LA and my job is in Hollywood. I know about living close to work, but is there a safe area in Hollywood?

Also... I have heard that Echo Park, Silver lake and Los Feliz are cool places >how far are they distance wise from Hollywood? could I bike/metro from there?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, esp. if you live in one of the above neighborhoods..Thanks :)

also the fairfax/Hancock park area have great and direct service to Hollywood

as does the wilshire/ corridor (plenty of bus routes into Hollywood)

then you also have other side (know as the valley (direct service
