Looking for Mid to Large cities that have at the very least 500,000 citizens. I like urban areas. So with that being said I understand that the cost of living in these urban areas would typically be higher...Does anyone know of Suburban areas or Cheaper Urban areas in EU that have a low cost of living?

Looking for Southern Europe but I would be really open to anything.

And if anyone can provide me with a link of where I can look at housing and apartments in that area would be EXTREMELY helpful!

  1. Prague, Zagreb, Lisbon, Istanbul, Berlin come to mind.

Check out this link, I thought this was somewhat interesting: http://www.expat-blog.com/forum/viewtopi...

I would definitely talk directly to local resources in Europe, try to avoid wholesale lists on the internet. They most likely will be more expensive. Try local newspapers etc. and try searches in the local languages, that way you will avoid the higher prices for  apartment rentals targeting tourists.

  2. here's a list of all European towns with at least 500.000 citizens:

Berlin, Bukarest, Belgrad, Budapest, Sofia, Prague, Zagreb, Leipzig and Nürnberg are cheap.

  3. IN THE FORMER EAST GERMANY  AND SOUTHWEST POLAND , CZECH REPUBLIC " ITALY IS A DUMP" EXEPT THE NORTERN PART BUT PRICY  SOUTH FRANCE IS NICE  AND NOT TO EXPENSIVE OR THE BALTIC STATES ARE VERY GOOD TO

PICK A CITY AND LOOK FOR THE NEWSPAPER  IN THE AREA
