Mine has southbound lane side previously employed for parking now fitted with 8 inch wide white paint line eight feet

eastward of curb to denote street bicycle lane.  Former east-

west railroad beds from ocean to volcano 50 miles distant

are largely tamped limestone gravel bicycle byways now.

Scheduled public transportation also has bicycle carriers.
