Which city has the best street fashion? And Why?

Street fashion = clothes worn by everyday urban women. I'd like to hear from people who have travelled and seen it for themselves. I think LA has the best street fashion because it's so laid-back. Tokyo is great too because it's so experimental.

Japan has some of the best street fashion. Because they are so far ahead.. and alot of people think that they are to far "Out There" but the reality is that Americans adapt there styles, its just a year or two later, so by then the consumer doesnt even realize it. Some of the trends that came out of Japan first were,

Babydoll Dress, ( that were so big in late 90's , Japan did it first)

The Two Striped Socks

The layered Look that those crazy Olsen Twins wear....

All of that was done for years before Americans did it.

I also like London Street fashion, its more raw and urban. and because there are so many cultures there , they kind of cross over.

Paris street fashion is a little more refined...more upscale, which is nice as well

And there is a definite difference btwn NYC and LA street fashion.
