Which city has the better nightlife: Munich or Berlin?

I am going to Germany for the World Cup with a bunch of my friends (early twenties) and as I am booking hotels, I was wondering which city has the better nightlife.

Berlin, definitely.  Its a much larger city than Munich.

Both are big cities, so they have a good selection of clubs, bars, ...

I would pick Berlin.

Munich is great but if you have a versatile crowd, Berlin is the winner! You´ll find anything from Grunge places via Hip Hop hangouts and Hard Rock bars to Salsa places :-)

Both cities have awesome museums and are worth packing some good walking shoes as the main accessory because you´ll want to discover them on foot!
