Which city in Australia is the best for IT career?

Which city you would choose if you like beaches, normal climate not extremely HOT or DRY?

Canberra!!!! Easy to get around - not too much travelling. Heaps of work.

Probably Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.

In any of those cities you should be able to find an IT job fairly easily, it should be a lot easier in Sydney, because there's ~3 times as many people as in Brisbane or Perth.

also, Perth is a bit drier than Sydney & Brisbane.

Melbourne has no beaches, only a creek running through the middle.

Go for Sydney, for temperate climate, the biggest range of IT jobs available and you could live North, East or South of the Central Business District and be near the beach. Brisbane is too hot, Canberra is 2 hours from the beach, Melbourne is over an hour from a decent beach, and our other states arn't advanced enough for your job prospects.
