I am moving to Australia because they have my skill in need as far as Journalism. Just a little about me. I am in my 20's single and moving there by myself (no Children). I love to go to clubs and parties to dance and have fun and I love the beach. I am look for somewhere that is warm all year and never really get too cold. I also want a place that has a lot to do. Based on This what is the best place for me to live in Australia. I am thinking it is between the Gold Coast, Brisbane, And Sydney because I like the warm weather. I am a laid back type of guy that likes to go out every now and then and have a good time and looking for beautiful women. Let me hear your thoughts.

  1. I've been to Brisbane. Warm folks and great bars.

  2. sydney can get very cold in winter so north is probably your best bet, though sydney does have the better night life

  3. Don't go to Melbourne. It's so cold that penguins live there!

Anywhere north of the latitude that runs thru Perth to Newcastle should be warm enough, but to avoid cold winters I'd stick to anywhere north of Geraldton to Coffs Harbour. The Gold Coast would suit you but the jobs are elsewhere. But you'd probably find that you might have a better chance of work in Journalism in Brisbane, or Darwin as they are cities. Perth or Sydney are cold in winter but hot in summer and will definitely have the job that your after.

  4. Melbourne is pretty good. Loads of bars, casinos and yay winter is coming. Though, it seems you are looking for somewhere warm. Why not try up north  or just go to South-East Asia? Malasyia? Indonesia? India?

    Or Mauritius? Dubai?

That's it go to Dubai. I've heard you can buy your own Island there.

BTW, if you do choose to go to Melbourne never go out at night, loads of drunk weirdos come out at this time and take advantage of tourists like yourself. In fact, bring a bat just in case.

  5. You will like moving to  Cairnes

  6. Melbourne gets freezing cold in winter, from an Australians perspective since it only snows up the mountains most cities don't drop below 0 degrees celcius.

Career wise, I think Sydney would suit you best. Great nightlife and beaches and plenty to do also.

Aussie chic's are hot everywhere, doesnt make much difference which state.

Weather wise, Queensland, ie Gold Coast and Brisbane experience scorching hot summer and tropical weather including cyclones and storms. Sydney is cooler but is still warm in summer, but usually more bearable. Winters days are usually nice and comfortable but late at night can get cool but are usually quite mild.

  7. Brisbane will provide the climate and nightlife that you need but is a bit of a drive to the beach.

Cairns is closer to the beach but is a bit quiet and has a wet season each year which might put a dampener on things (haha).

Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart are much too cold.

The Gold Coast is fairly touristy and tacky (no offence gold coastians!).

I would think Sydney is your best bet. Great nightlife, plenty of action on the singles scene and beautiful beaches. The weather is beautiful most of the year and you can always wear a wetsuit to surf in the cooler months.
