  1. Vancouver has relatively mild winters with little snow. The cold air from the Arctic that sweeps over the rest of Canada in winter is unable to reach Vancouver. The Rocky Mountains block it.Combine the lack of Arctic air with the mildness of Vancouver's location on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and it's not surprising that Vancouver is Canada's warmest city in winter by far.

  2. Quesnel BC., I go there every year and I love it there. It is pretty warm in the summer. Also Vancouver is really nice. Hope I helped!

  3. Vancouver has the best climate of Canada.

  4. well it not ALL cold actually. Everyone seems to think that Canada is cold all year round but its actually quite the opposite. First of all we have changing teperatures throughout the season. in the winter, all of canada is reletivly cold. But thats only relativly. (youalso have to remember we use celcius not farenheit so it looks like its colder then it actually is). In the summer most parts of Canada are relativly warm-hot. As you go north, the climate will tend to be colder but south its warmer. Just remeber we dont live in igloos and we do have hot summers!! gosh And i havent been to too many places in Canada but i do know that Toronto has hot hot hot summers aaa cuz i liv there.

  5. The West coast.  Like Vancouver and Victoria are the warmest.  But it rains all the time and can be cloudy for months on end.  Calgary get cold winter but they are broken up by chinooks which basicly means several time a year the temperature will go from d**n cold to plus two in hours and stay that wau for a few days.  Not much snow either.  Also lots of sunny days.

  6. Vancouver and Victoria would be the least cold. There's some snow in winter, sometimes it's gone in a day and sometimes it's around for a couple of weeks. It doesn't get below freezing very much. It does rain and stay cloudy for long periods in winter, though, and some people find that hard to take. On the other hand, summers in both those places aren't usually incredibly warm--they're nice, it never gets too hot to sleep like it does some places, but not what most would call hot-- unless you're inland a bit where it can get quite warm.

  7. In January, you'll find the "warmest" (more like mildest) temperatures in cities close to oceans and lakes: Victoria, Vancouver, St. Catharines-Niagara, Toronto and Halifax.

In July, you'll find the hottest average daily temperatures in the more southerly cities: Windsor, Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catharines-Niagara and Ottawa.

  8. Vancouver, it's the best city to live during the winter. But, if you're coming now, I suggest you to visit Montreal or Toronto because summer's there!

  9. British Columbia probably has the warmest winters but Toronto, Ontario gets really hot in the summer.  British Columbia's summers are usually pretty hot as well though.
