Which city in Spain is best to visit?

I have decided to go on holiday to Spain, but I can't decide where. Where do you think?

Well...I would tell you to go to (Oviedo, Asturias) but that's only because that is where I was born.....it's very pretty up north...you can take a train from Galicia that will take you all through the northern part of spain, specially through the coast. You'll get to see parts of Asturias like....Llanes...in Cantabria you'll see Santander....I don't know...it's very pretty. The train is called (Transcantabrico)

Also I would recomend Toledo, which is the most amazing city ever. It's very Medieval and I am absolutely in love with it.

And then of course...Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona which are the main cities...

Go on google and look up Spain, do some research and see what interests you the most!

If you just want warm weather, beaches and night-life go to marbella on the costa del sol, or benidorm on the costa blanca.

If you want a taste of the real Spain, Seville is one of the finest cities in the world. You could base yourself in Seville and visit Cordoba, Granada, Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera - all true Spanish cities. In the north of Spain Santiago De Compostella is a joy, and so is Santander. Madrid is nice, but it is a lot like most capital cities - busy! Personally I would go to Seville!

I just went on vacation to Spain a year ago. I stayed in Puerto Banus, which is in Southern Spain. It is near the ocean and beautiful. It was centrally located to many other areas of interest. Rhonda was incredible! Mijas was quaint and fun. Sevilla was full of old cathedrals. If you do choose Southern Spain, visit the Rock of Gibraltar and be sure to drive up the rock. It was an amazing experience. I am sure where ever you decide to go you will have a wonderful time!

i go to spain every summer,

and my family has a condo in both barcilonia, and sitges,

barcillona is better if your looking to do shopping and partying its more of a bar scene.

sitges is the beach capitol, nice weather and warm water.

If you're into the party life, go to Lorrette Del Mar. PARTY PARTY, they have a beautiful beach, with little tiki huts that sell big huge fu-fu drinks, a lot of night clubs, and shopping. Nice isn't very far and that's beautiful also. It's more high class. Travel safe, good luck!
