Which city is better for living?Ottawa or Toronto?

Done both, don't like traffic, like access to everything, , like museums, like culture, like to ski, and am cost conscious.  I chose Ottawa

ok, Toronto is huge, polluted, expensive (rent, transportation etc) Bus service is horrible. The crime level is high. There is alot to see and to do however. Good tourist city but if you want to establish yourself somewhere go for Ottawa (thats where i live actually) Its a medium size city lots of trees, lots of historical places to see, museums, has the best bus service i know of and its very affordable if you find the right place. Its also a very good city to raise kids! And a plus is that you get a GREAT hockey team! GO SENS GO!!

All depend of your own priorities. For example Rent in Toronto is expensive, as well as transportation, food etc. But Toronto is a very multicultural city, lots of staff to do and many places to visit and have a wonderful time.

On the other hand, Ottawa is small city, more cost effective, but looking for job can be difficul than in Toronto, since more of the jobs, are Goverment jobs. Less attractions, few festivals than in Toronto, and the weather sometimes get worse in special winter.
