Which city is better for relocation in India: Mumbai or New Delhi?

Which choice among the 2 is better:

1. Mumbai (Andheri-Bandra region or even South Bombay e.g. Colaba, Cuffe Parade)

2. New Delhi (not explored much)

In Ahmedabad right now; it's a very peaceful and clean place with good quality of life but lots of boring people. I want to relocate for career opportunities and "happenning" crowd. If you know what I mean?

Of course property rates are very expensive both places but is it possible to rent a 2 BHK in Bombay if you're earning very decently?

I actually did live in Bombay between 1992-1995 when I was like a schoolchild. But I also want to give Delhi a good shot considering other good aspects of national Capital.
