Which city is better in Australia for Jobs/Work Brisbane or Perth?

Wages are higher in Perth, but so too are the housing costs.

Lifestyle factors favour Perth as it's more like "California" compared to Brisbane being more like "Florida".

Perth advantages the younger people whereas Brisbane advantages retired people.

I agree Perth, and no worries on the comment.  Out here you can do one of two things, you can go work in the mines and make tons of money, or you can take one of the many jobs that are open because so many people have quit to go work in the mines.  If you are educated, meaning you can have a uni degree, this is also a great place because of there are a great number of companies situated out here in comparison to Brisbane.
