Which city is most worthy of a new AFL team?

There has been long running talk of the possibility of a new AFL team, but where should it be located?

Darwin or North Queensland sound good to me.  Down south already have enough entertainment.

Defiently Hobart Tasmania...they have a local support base that naturally follow Aussie Rules anyway...all they need is cash support since its a small town. I can't wait till Sydney gets a second team to have some really great derby games. Go Swans for 07!

Hobart, Tasmania. There is a vfl team in tasmania and i believe if there was going to be a new afl team it would come from Tasmania. Probably based in Hobart.

The Hawks are headed for Tas.

There should be a team based in the NT in Darwin the only thing is the poor guys from down south would take too much bark off and the ground being hard in the middle of the dry season too many would do their knees and ankles, the AFL would get sued by the likes of the Shaun Rehns for their careers ending too soon due to injuries.

I would really liked to see Darwin join the AFL. I know they play their footy during our dry season, their rain season, but if we can have a N.T team in the AFL the league will have almost every state and Territory in 1 comp.

Maybe in the near future Hawthorn may go to Tasmania and become a Tassie team and the Kangaroo's may decide to go to Canberra.

as a true AFL state id say Tasmania even though the hawks are playing more games there next year,otherwise maybe S.A or W.A as long as they have the supporter base.Syd and bris should stay as one team towns.
