  1. The cities in Ireland are beautiful. But have tried looking into some of the large towns. A lot of them have great night life, historical interests, closer to the Irish countryside. And a lot cheaper than the city

  2. Waterford

  3. I have lived in a few cities in Ireland Dublin, Galway and Cork to name a few and I have found that Cork was the best for scenery, tourist attractions and there are loads to see and do in cork. You could google your search by typing what you are looking for into the google search bar.

  4. Try Cork, its a lovely city, also referred to as the capital. Jobs are at a premium so I would try to get the work organised before you arrive.

  5. Galway is really nice!! My aunt lives there. Its a beautiful little city. Galway is one of Ireland's fastest growing city. Galway city has a reputation amongst Irish cities for being associated with the Irish language, music, song and dancing traditions - it is sometimes referred to as the 'Bilingual Capital of Ireland', although like all other cities in the Republic of Ireland, the vast bulk of the city's people converse mostly in English.

  6. y cant u cm 2 dublin its just as busy as cork !!! and galway ... dont listen to the ppl in cork saying they are the real capital because we are DUBLIN

  7. Cork or Galway would be good

  8. I would definitely suggest Galway, but then I am biased!  I've lived in Galway for 4 years now and love it.

There is a wonderful vibrant community of many different cultures, and you would find work no problem as there are hundreds of restaurants/bars/etc...!  It is also very student orientated, with lots of festivals going on.

Just be prepared for the weather - it rains a lot in Galway, but its not really cold.

Hope to see you there soon....

  9. Hi there,

I live in Co. Waterford and think its a lovely area often referred to as the sunny south east!!! There are so many lovely towns in this area, as its by the sea there are a lot of really nice restaurants dotted around so work should be plentiful. As for Galway or Kilkenny both are great places and I would say you would be equally happy in either. Personally my choice would be Galway just love the place. As Ireland is such a small country why not pay us a visit spend a few nights in each city or town on your shortlist and make your decision based on what you see for yourself.
