Which city would make a good capital for Europe ?

Generally , I think Paris or Berlin . But I think the cities in Eastern Europe are nice too , like Bucharest .

I'm not a European, but I would probably lean more toward Vienna, which I think would be more centrally located than Paris or Berlin.

Geneva is not as centrally located but might be a good choice because of its financial significance.

Europe has some of the most beautiful cities in the world.

None - The EU doesn't even have a recognised capital as such let alone one for the total Europe.

There is no one city that encompasses the linguistic, social and cultural values of all the countries so this would be difficult anyway

However if you see how long it takes for decisions to be take at EU level and then also the amount of disharmony, it would be impossible.  Apart from the general public's opinion, there are just too many egos at high level to allow that accolade to a "fellow" country!

Don't see it happening in my lifetime - sorry!

I will say again :

Europe is a continent not a country.

European Union is an organization of 27 member - states , like a "team" of independent countries. EU it's not a country.

So a capital for all Europe is not necessary. Not even logical.

Also it would be too difficult to find a city to make it European Capital.

There are 27 countries.

I mean every European country would like to have the EU Capital in her borders.

For example why London and not Paris, why Rome and not Madrid etc etc.

I agree with the idea of making Vienna the capital. Less bias, more accessible.
