I have to choose from one of these classes:

Physical Anthropology

Biology

Physiological Psychology

I know biology involves dissecting because I took it in highschool, but what about the other two?

Anyone taken these classes before?

I looked them up on Wikipedia but I still can't figure out if the lab work in these college courses would require dissecting anything.

  1. Biology has lots of dissection. The others you mention don't.

  2. I took Physical Anthropology and we didn't have to dissect anything... but I suppose the best way to find out is to ask the teacher about the curriculum. You'll score points with him/her for caring, too.

  3. All of these classes have a fair amount of dissection intertwined within the curriculum but I would imagine physiological psychology would have the least amount of dissection. If you do dissect it will most likely be limited to the brain of an animal, so you will just see the organ and not the animal itself.

If you are incomfortable with dissection but still need to take science courses, why don't you take physics or chemistry? These are great science courses with no dissections.

  4. I think you should take biology. It involves dissecting.

  5. Take Biology the others are more lecture based
