  1. hi,

Indian railways has four major class AC1st class,AC 2 Tier,AC 3 tier and Sleeper class.

AC 1st class is the best with separate coupe, decent toilets its like 1st class in a plane and equally expensive some time even more then then airfare. It carries approx 24 people.

AC 2 tier are great in comfort with decent toilets only differences being that the partition is with curtains and carries approx 45 people. It is fairly priced and cant be called cheap.

AC 3 Tier seats approx 72 people and has no partition. It is AC and you wont find dust and noise coming in your compartment.it is fairly cheap say around twice or 2.5 times the actual fare of sleeper class.

Sleeper class is without ac, no partion, windows can be opened, noise will be there,it seats 72 people approx but do not be afraid if you find twice the number of people in side.Loos are any bodies guess with so many people,Safety is also an issue with so many commuters.

SO TAKE YOUR PICK how would you like to travel.

There is no direct link between India and Nepal so do a research which train you are going to take and where would you de board and how to go across the border, and from there to nepal.

YES YES YES get your seats booked well in advance and also there has been floods in India Nepal boarder area .Check out whether you train goes through from safe area or not.
