Which class should I take for high school?

I am going into high school next year and there seems to be a problem with my scheduling. I applied for both band and AP World History, but they are held in the same period and no other period. So, I have to choose between either one. I would really like to do band because I enjoy playing an instrument and the other class choices for "extra-curricular" are uniteresting to me. On the other hand, AP World History would be excellent for my college application expecially taken as a freshman and I do excel in Social Studies. I am absolutely uncertain as of now what class I should take and I need to decide soon. Please help me choose a class and make some convincing points. Thanks!

u cant take Ap world history in freshmen year. u can take it sophmore year

College is something you should go to, so pick AP world history. You could join band any year, so you could once again play in a school band next year.

Hm...I took AP World History this year. It was a bit challenging. For a freshman, that's tough since freshman are not always geared up for these types of classes. Pish posh about college apps because while they do look for academic rigor, they will also consider dedication to extracurricular activities (ie Band). It is ultimately up to you, but I would probably choose band b/c you're a freshman, so relax and take it easy; worry about AP's and stuff like that the next year.

i would do band this year. you have 3 other years to take ap classes. if band is something you enjoy, it would be a smart idea to keep up with it.
