Professionaly he has played with West Ham Utd where he was given pelters by fans as they saw him as a "daddy's boy" because his Uncle (Harry Redknapp) and father (Frank James Lampard snr) managed and coached the club at the time.Fans felt this was the only reason he was getting a game.
During his time at West Ham he went on loan to Swansea City, before eventually signing for Chelsea at a cost of £11 million in 2001. His fee shocked fans and they were at first resentful but eventually they came round afer he displayed his talents and they now can't get enough of "Super Frank!"
