Which colors would look good?

i'm going to be redoing my room. the only problem is that i have a blue carpet and it is really ugly. i'd like an area rug to go over it, since carpeting is expensive. my comforter will probably be brown with colored polka dots. any reccomendations on a color for the area rug?

I see a lot of fashions that have Turquoise blue with brown, also that light green color.  Brown is really in right now.  Or if you always have clean feet, you could do a white rug.
