Which colour does your hi-viz vest have to be when driving in France?

I know that when driving in France you have to have a high viz vest in your car, I was just wondering if it mattered if it was yellow or orange??

  1. Doesn't matter what color the vest as long as it has the certification mark (CE) on the vest:  

    The Interministerial Committee on Road Safety Board (IRB) of 13 February 2008 has decided, like many other European countries, that drivers of any vehicle must have a safety jacket and a triangle pre - signs.

    This vest must be in accordance with Directive 89/686/EEC of 21 December 1989 on the laws of the Member States relating to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). This compliance is certified by the CE mark affixed to the vest and the presence of an instruction manual.


  2. The both. I have one geld and another orange. but it has to be fluo with silver parts. I dont know how to say it but i think you'll understand.
