Which come first ? Chicken or Egg ?

Give me a reason for the one you choose.

At some point two common ancestors of the chicken got it on and an egg was laid that was fertilized with sperm that was mutated in some way so that the new combination of DNA making up the developing creature in the egg was now a new species Gallus gallus aka. the chicken.

The egg because without it there would be no chicken. All things have to come from something else. I've heard that if you chose egg you believe in evolution and if you choose chicken you believe in creationism.

If you take into account Aristotle's philosophy, there has to be a source from which everything came from, or else you would have a never ending regression.

Since the egg's not capable of producing the chicken, but the chicken can produce the egg, it must be concluded that the chicken is the source from which the egg came from.
