Which companies will set up a network for my home/office?

there are lots of companies out there but it depends upon what your needs are. is it a computer network, or a phone network. IBM, cisco systems, lucent, there are tons try the big boys first and get info and prices, you will still need to do alot of research or at least know exactly what you want the system to do.
