Which company's digital camera is best ? Sony or canon?

If resolution of both the cameras are same then which company's camera is best.Which I shud buy whether a 7.2 MP or 8.1 , if rate diff. is nearly 3000?Other than sony , canon which I shud prefer.Does high digital zoom matters.

High pixel count only matters if you want to take extremely large prints, like the size of a big banner. A 6 mega-pixel camera is more than enough even for 8x10 inch size prints.

"Digital" zoom is totally useless no matter how much high it is. The higher the "optical" zoom, the better.

Normally, it is said Canon is good in the compact, point-and-shoot camera category. Go for Nikon if it is a professional or DSLR camera.

Canon when buying still cameras ... the pros use Canon's and Nikon's

Sony makes the best video cameras ... the ones the TV stations use

Digital zoom means nothing ... you can do a better job cropping using your photo program.

First of all i think u would have heard abt olympus it is the world no 1 dig cam manufacturers.

it offers light weight and compact and many more qualities than sony and cannon can offer.

So try for olympus and watch the below mentioned video clip which will help u in selecting good digital cam.

Go for SONY CYBERSHOT 7.2MP(DSC W70) ... It is good and u can use memory chip to increase memory as u require... Superb clarity and simple to handle also.. Try out  search via web to know more about it & it costs nearly 14,000 i hope .....
