Which company is better?

AAA or state farm?

AAA is giving me a way better rate than I have now...

or what about cost u less or 'the general'?

I like AAA better because of the discounts you get. (Hotels,admission to amusement parks, etc.)

I used to have State Farm and now have AAA.

I canceled State Farm because they raised my rate 80% one renewal, even though I never filed a claim.  

Another bad thing about State Farm is that if another State Farm insured person causes you to be in an accident while you have State Farm, both of you get an 'accident' on your record. This makes it harder to leave.  This happened to a friend of mine with State Farm who got rear-ended by another State Farm insured.

I have had AAA for 6 years with no accidents or tickets and they have not raised my rates once.
