I have the Logitech Z-2300 speaker set for my computer. They are a 2.1 set up with THX certification, They sound amazing, and have LOUD bass. The bass doesn't really get super low, but its good for most stuff. It is a 120 RMS 8" woofer and two 40 watt rms satelites. I just got mine like a few days ago for $100 including shipping at tiger direct. Check that out.

and to give you an idea how loud they are, when they are at like 1/8th volume, the bass is loud in my suitemates room next door. at half, their room rattles to my bass. I dunno much past that, i can't turn it up too loud....
