I want the DVD burner I'd prefer Light Scribe but I have one that works in my old computer I can put in it. I have a brand new 120G hard Drive spare I can also put in it.

I REALLY want to 15-in-1 Media Card Reader. I have one but its shaped like a floppy drive so it may not fit in these towers.

I really don't care about the printer I have one that works fine. My computer and my monitor broke so I'm looking to replace that.

Do you know of any other deals in this price range I don't want to spend more than 700, because my old computer is broken and I'm going to spend money on data recovery. I did a build a dell last nite online and it was less powerful and it cost about 750 and didn't have the printer.

Thanks.

As far as computer use, I only game a little bit (Sims, Sim City, Civ...nothing that intense that requires anything powerful), I do have about 20Gs of Music, and about 20Gs of documents/photos. I do alot of multitasking Music, internet browsing, typing, document editing all at the same time.

Thanks alot for the advice.

  1. The HP is better. Here is why:

    1. The DVD burner works on DL (Double-layer). This means you can burn DL DVDs, which store up to 8 GBs as compared to the regular 4 GBs.

    2. Better Graphics Card than the Dell. This will allow you to have a better gaming experience (Also for other graphics-intensive tasks)

    3. Larger Hard Drive meaning larger storage of files

Both computers are pretty good though. They should both run quite smoothly on Vista.
