Which concentration camp is better to see for impact reasons, Buchenwald or Bergen Belsen?

We don't call them concentration camps, rather then "Gedaenkstaette", which is equivalent to monument.

Anyway, all of them are emotional. I hope that you go for the right reasons. Bergen Belsen doesn't have buildings anymore, but rows and rows of mass graves.

At the end, it doesn't matter which you visit, all of them have a powerful message. I was born and raised in Germany and I got choked up every time I went to one.

If you really interested on history, you need to see both. But you need to be very strong it is very depressive there.
