  1. I would reccommend a Wii.  It's the cheapest, and is a good step up from sitting on a couch and mashing buttons.  The remotes are surprisingly sensitive and accurate to pointing/twisting etc.

Games are fun and incorporate the Wii's features.

Online support is amazing, there are a lot of freebie programs you can get off one of the Wii's 'channels', so it's fun even without a game.

For a lot of games, you can play against people worldwide and it's actually really easy and simple to set up.

The only drawbacks:  Remotes use 2 AA batteries, graphics not as good as other systems.

But Wii is still the best value.  I've had mine for 1.5 years now playing just 3 games and it's still great fun.

  2. Since you like music and don't prefer to go online. I think the 360 should be the console you should get, you can listen to music while playing games, it's very easy to use and it has really good graphics with an HDTV equipped with an HDMI cable.

If you do choose to play online with the 360, you gotta get Xbox live cards, they cost money, but on the PS3 and Wii, it's free.

  3. i have a wii they get boring very fast ps3 has bad games 360 perfect get the 360 its so fun

  4. Well I am pretty spoiled so i have had all three of them before. But I had to get rid of 2 of them because i needed some money. And guess what..The 360 won.I kept the 360 because it has alot of more things that you can do on it like go online which you can do on the ps3 but I dont know the online is alot better on the 360 than on the ps3.Because i used to go online on the ps3 and it sucked. There was like tuns of updates that you have to make. and when you do do the updates they take an about 7 minutes to do it so it is slow. And the wii is pretty boring you get tireD of it fast leave that console to the 12 year olds ok.And with the 360 you can hear music while your playing. Oh yah and i highly recommend that you get the elite because since you like to hear alot of music then thats the 360 for you because it comes with a 120 gig hard drive so that when you put alot of music in it you still have alot of room for other stuff so the elite is the one ok.And it has so much better games than the ps3.the only good games that the ps3 has is probably metal gear solid 4,uncharted and thats about it.And the 360 has gears of war(which I highly recommend that you get when you get the 360 if you get it I 100% Promise you that that game will not disupiot you.And if you like blood and guts then thats the game and dont forget gears 2 is coming out in a few months too so that gives you another reason to get the 360.And the 360 has more and more games that are better than the ps3.So since you dont like online then after you play gears i think that you are going to want to play after you play that game.So i am sorry for this long *** answere but i always like to answere guestions with every thing i say being answered correctly so i hope this helped and i highly recommend the 360.PEASE

  5. Depends on your price range and what type of games you want to play. The only real reason to get a console is because you will use to play specific games. Is it for you alone? For groups of friends? For children? Will you use it as a blu-ray player (PS3 )?

Personally, I own the Xbox, because it has a lot of games to play with friends (halo, etc.) and a Wii, because it's just darn fun. I have a ton of games for the Wii. I won't buy a PS3 until I get a high-def tv, because I'll use it for the blu-ray and to play Metal Gear Solid. But I can wait to play it.

Personally, I recommend that everyone get a Wii. It's very versatile. But if you play primarily first person shooters or like playing online with friends, then an Xbox might be the way to go.
