  1. What are you asking, Av Gas, fuel oil, Nuclear, you have to decide which fuel you are comparing. Aircraft don`t use nuclear fuel, they also don`t use fuel oil, therefore you cannot compare like for like, but. take a look at an aircraft flying at 35000 ft and consider that it can keep going for hours and hours with about 300 people on board on only the fuel it is carrying, it does`nt take much figuring..

  2. take into account the amount of passengers

  3. Probably about the same.

Many large boats are powered by the same number and types of gas turbines that power jet airliners.  Of course the boat is much bigger; but it also goes much slower.

  4. Are you talking about large boats or ships? two different thing.

  5. LO SIENTO AMIGO PERO NO SE ESCRIBIR EN INGLES ME LA REBUSCO PARA HABLAR GRACIAS BUSCARE EN EL DICCIONARIO Y LUEGO TE RESPONDO

  6. Well the largest boats, Eisenhower class carriers, only refuel every thirty years.

  7. Boats.   Propellors (as we are now discovering) is one of the most inefficient modes of travel.  They make for TONS of resistance (not to mention water creates more friction than air) therefore anything that travels in water naturally uses more energy (resulting in more fuel) than anything traveling in air.
