My optometrist tried a few brands amd I'm still not comfortable.Herre's my prescription in Acuvue advance for astigmatism: OD D:-1.25 cyl:-1.25 axis 010

OS D:-2.00 cyl -1.25 axis 160

I don't wear contacts on a regular basis but like having the option.

Any suggestions?

We tried focus toric monthly, frequency 55 toric and the acuvue is the best but still not that comfortable in terms of feeling them in my eyes not in term of vision. I did try to get use to them by wearing them a little longer every day but it doesn't work.

Thank you!

  1. I really like Purevision toric.  Also contact lens tolerance is really based on the individual wearing them.  I can easily wear my contact lens for 14-16 hours at a time.  I have even slept in mine a few times without any problems.  My friend is lucky if he can go for 8 hours.  He also started wearing contacts several years before I did.

Ask your doc about purevision toric  It may be the right one for you.

  2. Acuvue is the best... Ive been on every single type out there.... mine is -6.25 cyl -4.00 axis 160.... and it is the SOFTEST lens out there with allowing the eye to BREATHE... but thats just my experience
