Question:

Which cooker hood?

I'm finding it hard to find a salesman who is confident that his cooker hood is right for me.

I am looking to replace a cooker hood (the old one has been entirely removed - all I'm left with is a circular hole to the outside world, 6-8 inches wide, about 3 feet above the cooker). I've been to a couple of superstores and the salesmen there aren't confident they have the right sort of hood for me (one that straddles that hole and sends the internal air outside). Any advice on where to look or which specialist company to ask - not really a waste of money using one as I can't install it myself, whichever one I end up with.

  1. B&Q they have qutie a few different types and there is always someone to help[warehouses]eg 60cm,90cm,glass or stainless steel, hoods or the awning type.or even wooden blend in for kitchen walls, internal with filters or for extraction to outside.

  2. depends on what you want to spend.

http://www.trade-appliances.co.uk/_214_Z... is a very nice but expensive option.

http://www.asda-electricals.co.uk/shop/p... is a much more value for money cooker hood ( and there are cheaper ones, I know).
