    You could include Georgia.  The first two you mention happen to be in Asia.  Usually, Eastern European would be understood as meaning the bits of the former USSR in Europe (that disqualifies the large majority of the territory, which is Asian), the former Warsaw Pact countries, former Jugoslavia and Albania.  The term tends to reflect the previous political situation, and that leaves geographical anomolies.  For example, Austrians, Finns and Greeks would be surprised if they were discussed as being East Europeans.

  3. Yes they are. Most of the eastern countries are ex-soviet union territories. They are essentially Slavic countries and are smong the ppoorest in Europe. Tajkisthan, Azerbaijan etc etc....

    im pretty sure the countries that you named are not considered eastern european.
