I know there are few true free market capitalists, but which countries are like France, Germany, USA with comparatively few restrictions, vs. Scandinavian countries or China which are closer to socialist?

Not saying which is better, just curious! Thanks for your answers!

  1. technically there are none, are truly capitalistic country can not exist...

  2. Technically, a capitalist country CAN exist...but the US hasn't been one since a few minutes after the ink dried on the constitution.  The countries you mentioned (France, Germany, USA) are "modified capitalist" meaning that they made adjustments to pure capitalism to achieve desired objectives...in other words, they mixed in a little socialism to deal with the perceived shortcomings of capitalism.  Of course, it only takes a few drops of black to turn a bucket of white paint into gray paint.  Thus, there is and never really has been a capitalist country because we humans think we can do a better job of allocating resources than the natural laws of supply and demand.
