Any hypocrite country that talks about freedom, democracy and justice and do not allow it when it applies to Arabs and Muslims. Hamas -whatever their ideology- has been elected by the majority of the Palestinians in a clean election that was supervised by the EU. What happened next? Israel started killing its leaders one by one starting with an old handicapped Sheikh Ahmed Yassin who got killed by a rocket as he went to pray, arrested tens of MPs with no charge and killed hundreds of innocent civilians who died while still believing that the west is fair.. The USA and the west supported a corrupt Palestinian leader who was put in the chair of Arafat to serve Israel and divide Palestinians The great west that allowed Sharon to kill the civilians and called him a man of peace!!! The west bends any rule for the sake of Israel. It does not matter which country recognize Hamas..what matters is Hamas  a legal government ?..the answer is Yes.

By "recognize" I assume you mean "recognize as the legitimate government of the Gaza Strip".

To that end, since not even Fatah, the other "Palestinian" faction, recognizes them, I would doubt that any legitimate government recognizes Hamas.
