Which countries have a red (high) alert, and is dubai a dangerous place to go to?

which countries have been issued with a red alert? and i know dubai has but is it a dangerous place to go to?

Generally not at all dangerous, apart from the threat to your bank balance. However with Iran conducting missile tests, and Dubai being the sin city of the Gulf, a warning from the Foreign Office is always worth some consideration.

The British Consulate in Dubai issued a red alert by some paranoid people. Whlie this took place the British Ambassador was shopping in Abu Dhabi Mall, got caught by surprise and was mad as h**l.

I only would avoid travelling to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yesterday President Bush praised Sheikh Khalifa for his role and efforts at the regional and international levels.

He also lauded Sheik Khalifa for the UAE's moderadete policy, saying that is one of the major factors of stablity in the region.

Some Middle Eastern may have a red alert for certain reason (who knows why) but the UAE does not belong to it.

Dubai is just dangerous is you want to cross the streets:))
