ok, so im doing an assignment and have not been able to find much info on the topic. my first task is to "Make a list of locations in the world that are affected by global warming and climate change and research where they are. (mark them on a world map).

But i cannot find the places most affected by global warming.

I only have Antarctica (melting) and the islands off west bengal, india (sinking and flooding)

i need a list of places, or as many as you know affected by the issue in any way, and the continent they are in, and the source you got them from.

PLEASE HELP?! urgent

i dont need anyone posting saying "none becoz it doesnt exist" ect, so please, unless you cannot, post elsewhere.

Thanx, any questions to further help, just reply and i will add onto my question :D

  1. Absolutely none.

If you call droughts that have been occurring from day one, or storms that have been occurring from day one, or heck any weather at all that some attempt to link to the lie, then we all have, but you know what? these things happened before Americans had cars.

  2. I would say Greenland.  Go to the Today's show site and seach for Greenland.  The today show did this climate change serier where Al, Ann and matt each went to a different part of the world.  There was some major effects listed-I don't remember them except that Halibut, which are a cold water fish, are smaller than they used to be due to the warming waters.  I'm pretty sure Greenland has also experienced a major amount of glacial melting as well.

  3. pl send me ur mail addrs so that i can attach the files.

  4. the Maldives, Bangladesh, Netherlands, (yes, Antarctica and Arctic)

better buy magazines like Newsweek, Time, etc. those are really informative. i have read them on those magazines.

    EDIT

oh, Australia, yes it is (because of drought, politics was affected also) London, so much more.

  5. I really don't know if this is true...but I think Scotland is becoming affected by global warming. Our summers are becoming almost unbearably hot, and are getting warmer every year!

  6. Here's a search link at Reason Magazine (global warming)scroll to the bottom of the page too, you'll see there is page after page on the subject

Many say there is and many say it's a farce, who knows?

I tend to think it will happen, we believe there is cycles in the warming/cooling, however this cycle, if we are in one, will now include the millions and millions of tons of CO2 we have put into the air.

True the enviroment does absorb it, but we are now releasing more than is absorbed and we are still cutting down whole forests, which are tremendous CO2 absorbers.

Another point I wonder, we know Venus is hot, very hot and the atmosphere on it is primarily CO2, we know that is a greenhouse gas, now consider Venus is hotter than Mercury although it is almost twice as far from the sun as Mercury

Try some Google searches too, warming, cooling atmosphere, climate, stuff like that or a combination of words

Well people will argue it both ways for a long time, anyway Good Luck with your assingment, it's a tough one!

  7. india

    australia

    usa

  8. Well global warming is effecting the whole planet!America and China or Japan are

The amazon rain forest is effected by global warming. Heres some info !http://www.umich.edu/~gs265/society/gree...

  9. the whole planet, ***** America ,Canada ,Europe,Australia, china ,south America, just to name a few result's are --since the glace rs are melting the water has to go some where, this is causing flood's through out the world and in some places drought causing the loss of crop's and food shortage's ,then there is a increase in tornadoes, earth quakes, typhoon's and the list goes on and i think the worst is yet to come.

  10. Not only is Global Warming effecting the earth... it effecting our solar system.

Research shows that we are sucking all of the heat out of the sun and depriving our other planets of much needed warmth.

The icecaps of mars are MUCH thicker than previously thought less than a year ago.  See link to research below.

    I blame Bush.
