  1. War criminals pop up in every war...but the winners tend to overlook their own misdeeds. Some of the charges against n**i war criminals would also apply to Churchill, 'Bomber Harris', Bush and Blair..

  2. so many countries, eve the US.

  3. Every country which ahs ever tsken psrt in a war has had some aprt in committing war crimes. During the Boer War in South Africa civilians were shot as spies when they were really just farmers. In WWII Russian soldiers engaged in mass rape during thre first days and weeks of occupying Berlin. The US was responsible for civilian massacres in Vietnam and bombed Cambodian farming territory when they were not even at war with them. Australian SAS troops were accused of brutality in east Timor against militia forces trying to uphold Indonesian rule.

The relating link between all these nations and all these crimes is war. It makes good men do terrible things.

    Just don't go to one.

  4. Nezi Germany during WW2 - invaded half of the Europe killing millions of people

USA - invaded Yugoslavia, changed its regime and killed thousands of civilians

    etc etc etc

  5. The list is extensive, and how far do you wish to go back in history?

Britain committed "War Crimes" during the Boer War.

The n***s committed War Crimes prior to, and during WW-2.

The Japanese Committed War Crimes prior to, and during WW-2.

Spanish and Italian Fascists committed War Crimes leading up to and during WW-2.

The Turks committed Genocide in Armenia and against the Kurds at the start of the 20th Century.

The US, the ARVN (South Vietnamese Armed Forces), the Lon Nol government in Cambodia all committed War Crimes during the Second Indochina (Vietnam) War. The Lon Nol government committed "Genocide" against Vietnamese Civilians in Cambodia (May 1970) was the worst example.

The Khmer Rouge (Khmer Khrohom) committed "genocide" against the Muslim 'Chams' and the 'Chinese' in Cambodia along with killing many civilians through paranoia during their period (April 17, 1975 to Jan 4, 1979). A total of 1.7 million people died from malnutrition, illness, overwork, in combat or in executions during the KR period.  A "War Crimes Tribunal" is currently being organized in Cambodia against the KR, with the hypocritical US being the biggest sponsors.

Idi Amin committed genocide in Uganda.

There was the Belgians in the Congo in the 1960's

There was the Rwandan genocide in recent decades.

Indonesia against the East Timorese (1975-2001) and against the people of Banda Achea in Sumartra (1960- to the present) and in Selewesia (1960's to present) plus against the Chinese following the coup in 1966 (figures vary from 600,000 to 3.7 million people).

In the former Jugoslavia each side, the Croatians, the Serbians and the Kosovians all committed "War Crimes" including genocide and rape during the "Balkan Conflicts" of the 1990's. Unfortunately, it is only the Serbians who seem to be being prosecuted.

There is the current conflict in Darfur.

The US involvement in Iraq is illegal under international law and the UN charter, and technically the US should be charged with War Crimes.

The US is a supporter of the International War Crimes Tribunal BUT will not allow any of its citizens, military or civilian, to be prosecuted by the  Tribunal, saying it will prosecute War criminals themselves. So far, there has been very little evidence of them doing so. Lt. Calley (of the My Lai incident in Vietnam) was prosecuted but only served a few months in prison, was then placed under house arrest for a few months then given a pardon.

I suggest you look at the Yale university genocide site as they have been investigating these extensively.
