Which countries people are more Animal friendly, Australia or New Zealand?

Well, you've left this open for a bunch of sheep loving jokes. :)

I don't think this is an answerable question - you have people that love animals and treat them well, and you have idiots who treat animals terribly.  Due to the increased population of Australia to NZ, there are more people being both nice and mean to animals, so you can skew that however you like.

I'm from NZ.  I don't think there would be much of a difference between our 2 countries, our cultures and values are pretty similar.  Also, both countries have many endemic but endangered species so there are lots of programmes working to help wildlife.  Hunting and fishing are also popular in NZ though, I'm not sure how popular it is in Aus.  I think both countries are good in terms of animal treatment (on a worldwide scale of animal treatment).  Of course their are bad people in every country but I don't think either of these 2 countries are above average (in # of bad people) at all.
