Question:

Which countries should an American prospective ex-pat consider to live and work in?

I'm an American citizen, and I graduated from college with a business degree recently. I'm not picky about which industry I work in; I'd just like to live and work overseas.

Is it easier to find a job (or emigrate in general) in certain countries? Which ones are relatively easy or difficult?

Or, more generally, which countries would you recommend I research further? Why?

Thanks!

  1. Rather than advise specific countries I suggest you start off deciding what is important to you. Consider language, climate, political system, social life, anything in fact that may influence your choice. Once you have narrowed down the type pf place you want to live you need to look at a map and work out which countries or parts of countries fit your needs. Once you have that you will be able to research more to decide if you would want to live in any of them. Once you know where you want to live and work, you can look at the immigration process for that place.
