  4. Because of the different types of greenhouse gasses and each has a different effect on GW, China is the biggest problem some of the time, Indonesia at other time and if they are not burning coal or burning down the rainforest's the USA is always ready to fight to be first.

  5. The largest CO2 emitter is now China.  (You can look up the source on Google as fast as I can.)

    As recently as 4 years ago the U.S. was responsible for 23% and China 14% (page 22):

    As for historical emissions, the charts I've seen have place Great Britain in first place due to their historical use of coal, but some charts such as this one put the U.S. out front:

  6. Hi! Yes, you are correct that the US contributes to so much of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming.. Also we have the most energy consumption..   7. No country really contributes to global warming. It is a natural phenomena. Humans in general contribute such a small percentage as to be statistically irrelevant. Of all entire greenhouse effect, we contribute only about .27%.
