This is silly, of course people are going to pick the country they live in as everyone is patriotic to some extent and proud of where they've come from... the question should have said "which country apart from your own would you like to live in"

I'm from UK and if I had to live in any other country...

well, what's important to me is a free country, strong economy, clean, health and safety rates pretty high, no oppressive governments, good education system, freedom of thought and speech...   New Zealand and Canada are tempting but I'd like to stay in Europe- lots of European countries fit the above bill but if I had to choose, the Scandinavian countries are well known for their high living standards so I'd pick either, possibly Sweden or Denmark as I'm not a fan of hot weather anyway.
